Meredith Wild is somewhat a new author to me. The first book that I have read of hers was On My Knees a couple years ago and ever since so it started my obsession with her Hacker Serial and of class the Span Series. Into the Fire is the story of Darren and Vanessa. It'south total of highs and lows, and packed total of emotion. Vanessa is a character that has much more to her than first meets the eye. She is smart and clued in, but a pure romantic at eye, albeit a cautious one. Darren, I have to acknowledge was my favourite! He was dominant in all the right ways simply sensitive in others, coming across every bit and then undeserving of someone's dear in the beginning. At start you recall he is the 'player' type, but by the stop you tin run into how that man'due south loyalty shines through! He was seriously swoon-worthy!!
This story is hot as hell and had my emotions in a tailspin. I was swooning, getting damn frustrated, hating some of the characters (you know who your are), while loving others. Meredith really has 1 of those unique talents equally a writer to describe all that out of you lot in a couple of hours! My interest was piqued throughout, wondering what was going to take place next! I was right there witnessing it all happening!

This was fast read, and very enjoyable. Vanessa's boss totally gave off a creepy vibe. I take read all her Hardwire series and I have been waiting for Into the Burn (like forever!). So when I finally got it I dove in right away… let me tell yous, Meredith does non disappoint. I love Darren and Vanessa'south story.Darren is a fire fighter. He is sexy, handsome and charming. He loves to salvage lives and is a genuinely a prissy guy. Darren has a big eye simply unfortunately he does not give his big centre away to women. He is a playboy/man-whore of sort who likes one-night stands and shies away from whatsoever commitment. Simply then Darren met the beautiful redhead Vanessa (Maya's best friend) and he was instantly attracted to her.
Vanessa is beautiful, smart, driven and she does not fall for players… or will she? The two of them have to spend a calendar week playing all-time man and maid of honor on a destination wedding for Cameron and Maya. What happens afterwards one week in paradise and they take to go back to real life??? Darren wants to change his reputation to deserve Vanessa but eventually his past comes dorsum to haunt him. I enjoyed both characters and I similar how their human relationship evolved from friends to lovers. The chemical science is scorching hot – trust that you will exist left hot and bothered . Their romantic journeying is a rocky one but nothing adept comes easy – y'all have to fight for the one you love. Meredith's writing is astonishing – steady and takes you lot on a journey with twists and turns from showtime until the end. This story is emotionally charged - total of passion, angst, heartbreaks and love. Read this babe in one sitting.
I also enjoyed the bandage of secondary characters. Vanessa'south roommate seems funny and loyal. I hope he volition have his ain story. I dearest that we still get to see Cameron and Maya besides, as I loved Into The Burn and wanted to read more about them.

Into The Fire was such a fantastic read. Meredith knows how to write such fantastic men. They are not perfect simply that makes them more than existent. They are the bad boys of fiction! Darren was no exception to the bad boy persona. He was THE bad boy. The 1 everyone knew for having a different daughter every night. So it was no surprise that Cam warned him off. But you know what happens when you earn Darren not to do something? Information technology makes him want to exercise it even more than!Vanessa is Maya's best friend. Maya is with Cam, Darren'due south younger brother. Vanessa has always thought Darren was hot and out of reach. She knew he liked women, and knew he wouldn't change for anyone. Except what happens when he tells her he would modify for her? Tin can she trust him?

Into The Fire is the 2nd book in The Bridge Series but can totally be read every bit a stand-alone. Told from dual points of view, Into The Burn follows the story of Darren and Vanessa. From the moment we get-go run into Darren and Vanessa, their chemistry and pull to one another is so potent, you just know the two of them together are going to be off the charts. Y'all see, Darren is used to getting everything that he wants and the one woman he wants is considered off limits. Still, Darren has had enough waiting. He wants Vanessa and he volition finish at nothing to have her….Vanessa knows that Darren is bad news, but she can't fight the pull that she feels towards him. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It was fast-paced and entertaining. I dear stories where the bad-boy/actor falls for the girl that's out of his league and this one definitely hit all my marks. I loved seeing Darren and Vanessa together. Vanessa brought out a side in Darren that he wasn't used to. She made him possessive, alpha and adamant. She fabricated Darren want to change and have a run a risk on love and in return, Darren fabricated her live.
Into The Fire is an exciting add-on to The Bridge Series. It was fun, sexy, and entertaining, with just the right amount of steam and drama. I can't expect to get my hands on the next book in this series! Fans of Meredith Wild, y'all will non be disappointed!!

Darren'due south got a colorful by that Vanessa has a problem dealing with, merely she has no idea what kind of issues she is almost to really have.
This book can be read as a stand-lonely, but you really should start with ON MY KNEES, and walk through Maya and Cameron journey. Their sister Liv will be next, and I tin can't flipping look.
